Ford Super Duty Tailgate Step, simple yet remarkable

Ford is one of the leading auto make in the world and its F series are a main attraction especially to those who love cross country and driving in difficult terrains. Heavy duty vehicles are really needed in order to pass through it without the trouble of getting stuck or something.

This year, the Ford has once again made it to the market with the creation of the new 2008 Ford Super Duty F-250. A lot of enhancement was done and an additional feature has been added to the exterior, interior, and even to its engine system. What caught my attention was the Tailgate Step. Ford is the first in the car industry to make use of such witty innovation.

So, how does the Tailgate Step work? It’ simple, all you have to do is to lower the tailgate and pull the middle of the Step tailgate and turn over the small portion on the tailgate in order to have a big bigger space to step on.

Such innovation may be very simple, yet the convenience it will give cannot be outweighed. Getting up and down the back of a Ford truck can really be difficult, so much more for a kid or for someone who is quite old already. Imagine how hard it is to be climbing up and down a pretty big truck such as Ford. You have to step to its tire first and extend over the tailgate. Isn’t it terrible? Now, getting into the car is already easy, all you have to do is step up and that’s it! This simple innovation is truly remarkable.

People sometimes have the misconception that an innovation has to be something that is complicated but the truth of the matter is…there are times when what people need is a simple improvement to help them and make things more convenient, such as Ford’s pioneering integrated Tailgate Step.
